Who We Are
We are a coalition of neighbors, artists, makers, and entrepreneurs working to fulfill the needs of our community through economic development, cultural enrichment, urban renewal, and civic engagement.
Our Goal
To acquire, restore, and transform the Truck 6 Engine 27 Firehouse at 1152 Oak Street, San Francisco from a vacant, unused building into an open and inclusive mixed-use space to serve as a meeting place for community groups, hub for local artists and performers, and a center for interdisciplinary inspiration and collaboration.
How We Get There
We will engage our neighbors to recruit volunteers, community partner organizations, elected representatives, and donors to collaboratively develop and implement a comprehensive plan for the acquisition, restoration, and operation of Truck 6 Engine 27.
What’s Next?
We are reaching out to decision-makers, major donors, and community stakeholders to gauge support and viability for our plan before we launch later this year. We are currently recruiting individuals to serve on our board of directors, while involving active members of our local community to cultivate awareness of and support for our mission. We are excited to have your involvement.
